For over 6 years I have been building out the original world of Acariel as Dungeon Master and telling its story for my Players to explore using the Dungeons & Dragons 5e system.

The World of Acariel
A fantastical, home-brewed world that started from a supercontinent and spread out with different climates and regions over time. Each part of the world has its own reason for being. Any part of the world can be the seed for an adventure.

Creatures
Whether it be story-based characters with a complex background or mechanically interesting monsters, in creating a new world with original stories, the call for exciting and intriguing creatures is never too far away.

Custom Items
To give players ideas for battle strategy, to weave intricate plotlines, to create chaos; Magical items are a fun way to design smaller systems.

Narrative Scenes
Plot structures, encounter mechanics, and backstory integration are some ways I find the most interesting "play" pieces for myself, as the DM, where I can be challenged to create as a result of the Players' actions.
